Sure why not. Breakfast doesn’t have to be the traditional eggs, cereal, waffles, etc. Sometimes something else is a tasty substitute.
Top Ramen made a quick and easy meal, but not by itself. Instead, added some beef and mushrooms from last night’s BBQ to make something a little different.

4th of July Kabobs
Starting off this page with a holiday meal isn’t indicative of the direction we’re planning on going in, but it’s as good a place to start as any.
Being on a serious budget, and not wanting to totally skimp on a holiday (an unexpected day off for her), we went for the $0.79 oysters, asparagus, a package of garlic pasta and a few other veggies from G&G market. We have tri tip from Costco and that coupled with the other items and went to town.
We kept two of the steaks and cubed the rest in preparation for kabobs. She marinated the meat with pineapple chunks, eel sauce, garlic, teriyaki, and a hint of sesame oil. These went in a bag for a while.
