We went out got some soil, a few plants and seeds in an attempt to grow some of our own ingredients. It’s kind of exciting to see what comes of it and hopefully we’ll get some return. On the right there is tomato (2 varieties), cilantro and Bell peppers. What you don’t see is the seeds planted for corn along the back, and staggered in front of that is variety of bells, zucchini. and yellow squash.
Now, if I could just figure out how to bury a bone and have a large steak grown from it.
<——————– Fast forward a bit ————————–>
Our basil and orange bells are thriving nicely.
The zucchini and crook neck squash are starting to poke through the soil. Still waiting on the assorted bell peppers.
White Corn! Just poked through this morning. There three different sites, and we can’t wait to see how these turn out.
Our honeydew melon isn’t doing as well as the other plants. Not sure if it’s too much water, not enough sun, or what. The tomato is getting big.
