If you’re like me, you spend at least some effort when cooking trying to make sure you don’t burn the dinner or any part of it. If you can just release your grip on that just a little bit, you may just be in for a treat.
Start with a larger broccoli crown (for us, that’s enough for two adults) and cut it in to smaller pieces. These mini crowns are then put in a steamer, microwave, or ether preferred cooking vehicle and cooked to your preference.
For me this doesn’t take long so I throw in “some” butter in a pot and turn stove top to high.
Stirring frequently the butter is heated until it burns!
It will froth up so keep stirring. When it starts to not foam so much and turn a deep brown underneath, you’re about done. By now my Broccoli is done so I take out and dump in to a bowl. Then I take the butter and pour over the broccoli (which I think actually cooks it a bit more).
Don’t forget to scrap out the black bits. They are the best part!
Enjoy!
